Courtney Murphy is a dynamic health care leader adept at leading organizations through growth to scale and profitability. Her ability to design transformative health care models and lead teams to execution in challenging environments is demonstrated in the success of two nationally recognized organizations. Courtney has dedicated her career to ensuring that high need populations receive the best possible outcomes. Upon joining Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) as Chief Operating Officer, Courtney turned around an underperforming, subscale integrated Dual Eligible health plan and service delivery arm, achieving margin positive performance in 12 months. She then led the development of the corporate growth strategy, establishing CCA as a national leader in serving high need individuals with an industry leading care model while growing membership by 70% over a five-year period. She then successfully spearheaded expansion into new markets and products, including CCA’s first ever geographic expansion. Courtney led the acquisition of distressed assets in additional markets and successfully executed turnaround plans, integrating them into CCA while growing them 200% by year two. Her experience in product design, combined with her ability to build strong partnerships across the healthcare sector, has delivered powerful results throughout her career.
