ABOUT COURTNEY PALMER

I am deeply committed to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory\'s mission of enabling U.S. security and global stability through innovation and integrity. As a mission enabler, my goal is to make it as easy as possible for our teams to execute world-class science, technology, and engineering by taking care of the details behind the scenes.In my role as a Travel Policy & Special Disbursement Administrator, I help my colleagues understand our policies, providing interpretation and granting exceptions when warranted, and make sure we’re following all the rules. I also look for ways to make our processes smoother and more efficient, so everyone’s experience is better.I manage our travel and events corporate card program as the US Bank administrator, support our travel booking software as a Concur administrator, oversee our event management software as the Cvent administrator, as well as providing company-wide administrator support for our internal conference management tool. In these roles, I serve as the liaison between LLNL and internal IT support and external vendors, oversee user access, system settings, provide training and guidance, and make sure everything runs smoothly.I work closely with people across the Lab and with outside partners, including federal agencies. Whether it’s solving a tricky problem, running an audit, or helping someone navigate a new system, I’m always ready to lend a hand. I enjoy finding practical solutions and making sure our programs run well, so our teams can focus on what they do best.
