WORK HISTORY
Resident Facilitator @Tennessee Educators Of Color Alliance
Nashville, TN, US
As a facilitator for the Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance’s Ascension Project, I design and lead professional learning sessions for Ascender Fellows. Fellows are emerging educators of color preparing to enter Tennessee classrooms. Rooted in TECA’s mission to elevate, support, and retain educators of color, my facilitation centers culturally responsive teaching, equity-driven leadership, and sustainable educator practices. My key responsibilities include cohort mentorship as well as developing and delivering sessions that focus on curriculum design, student-family engagement, student advocacy, critical teacher-reflection and professional identity development.
