At Beacon Communities—a mission-driven developer, owner, and manager of affordable and mixed-income homes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic—I oversee all aspects of the development process for numerous projects in MA, PA, and CT, from deal sourcing, acquisition and community engagement and design to permitting, financing, closings construction, and lease-up.I’m passionate about applying regenerative design to affordable housing—creating developments that not only provide homes and address the housing crisis, but also help revitalize neighborhoods, strengthen local economies, and advance climate resilience.My work spans projects from $16M to $200M, ranging from 45 to units, using diverse financing tools including 4% and 9% LIHTC, Risk Share, Fannie Mae, HOME, FHLB, and other public and private sources. Projects types include new construction, adaptive and historic reuse, and preservation.Recent developments are all-electric and high-performance, certified Passive House, LEED, or Enterprise Green Communities—with ongoing efforts focused on decarbonization and electrification of existing properties.
