ABOUT COURTNEY CLARK
I’m a proud graduate of Missouri State University (GO BEARS), where I earned my Bachelor\'s in Entertainment Management with an emphasis in sports and events. I absolutely loved working in the sports and the events sphere. I loved selling experiences at Children’s Mercy Park. I loved event planning, I loved account management, and training new team members. I loved destroying my revenue goal for the year. I loved building my brand, building my book of business by scratch and retaining clients by cultivating strong relationships. What I needed was more time for myself, more time with my family and friends, and more time learning what my passions were as an adult. I found my way to the healthcare field and then to the advertising & marketing industry where again I fell in love. I fell in love with the creativity, the innovation, the design projects. I was captivated by the artistry of client work and campaigns, by the drive to create and spearhead change, and from the overall environment where I could explore different skill sets, where I could be involved, where I could belong even though I wasn’t in a creative or account management role. I found a place that prides itself on their contribution to the industry and believes wholeheartedly in community service. Although this isn’t where I thought my career and job search would take me, I’ve learned a lot along the way. I’ve learned that goals change and how to navigate that. I’ve learned to adapt, to let go, to try new things and to put myself out there. I’ve learned new systems, new processes, and new ways of working. I’m learning to pride myself on how far I’ve come and believe wholeheartedly in where I can go one day.
