Leads cross-functional team, including external consultants, managing and directing, from inception to implementation, the inaugural PhRMA Equity Initiative, an industry effort, and PhRMA Health Equity Roundtable, a multi-year, comprehensive strategy to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion and improve health outcomes for communities of color. • Driving a pioneering plan, with a multi-million dollar budget to invest in historically marginalized communities of color in three key pillars: enhancing clinical trial diversity, developing research and policies that advance health equity, and building a diverse industry talent pipeline.• Develop criteria and assessment tools to authorize and administer in funding for the CARES (Collaborative Actions to Reach Equity) grant program. Grants have been provided to community organizations to create solutions to improve health outcomes, and decrease healthcare disparities in historically marginalized communities.
