I’m a planner by title, but at heart, I’m a builder—of systems, strategies, and projects that drive growth and value. With a background that bridges field work, land planning, and big-picture coordination, I bring a unique blend of practicality and vision. Whether I’m shaping early-stage concepts, navigating jurisdictions, or leading internal processes, I focus on execution with integrity. In every project, I bring precision, creativity, and a deep respect for the land and the people who live on it. I’ve become known for bringing calm clarity to complex situations—managing details, aligning teams, and moving things forward without micromanagement. I believe in working with good people, setting clear expectations, and building environments where teams do their best work. I value honesty, clarity, and collaboration, and I thrive in environments where thoughtful work and thoughtful people come together. Outside of work, I’m a youth shotgun and horse judging coach, a Texas native who still loves wide open spaces, and someone who finds peace in working with my hands as much as my head. I’m currently exploring opportunities in land development, project management, and acquisitions—particularly with forward-thinking teams where I can grow, lead, and contribute meaningfully and do it with people who value integrity, initiative, and a little bit of grit.    May 2024 — Present · Houston, TX, US

   Led planning efforts for master-planned communities and city growth strategies across the Houston metro.At LJA, I supported large-scale, master-planned communities across the Houston metro, helping bring early-stage land concepts to life. I worked closely with senior planners, engineers, and clients to create detailed lotting studies, park and amenity layouts, and street networks.One of my key contributions was serving as our in-house expert for acreage analysis—producing precise land use breakdowns down to the 0.01 acre, accompanied by clear, color-coded maps and spreadsheets that informed critical client decisions. I also developed internal training materials and mentored new team members, sharing what I learned to help the team work more efficiently.Additionally, I helped standardize our approach to planning and sizing drill sites—streamlining our coordination process with engineers and saving time across multiple projects. I was also honored to support a citywide growth plan for League City, helping shape how a rapidly growing area plans for future development.
