Built Quora\'s Accounting Operations from the Ground Up: Established accounting operations, processes and systems to support rapid growth, as evidenced by scaling the team from 1 to over 20 staff within 2 years and implementing a new ERP system (NetSuite) to replace QuickBooks. Transitioned the chart of accounts and translated 2 years of financial statements to ensure continuity. Restructured Tax Filings and Improved Compliance: Led complex tax filing and restructuring projects, completing reorganization to achieve more streamlined compliance. Developed new financial policies and procedures handbook to institutionalize best practices. Led HR and Sales on an Interim Basis: Took on interim leadership of HR and Sales, separately, for 6 months while recruiting permanent executives. Updated HR policies and procedures manual to strengthen company culture and compliance while going to a remote first transition.
