Provide leadership as a licensed high school counselor in an ASCA (American School Counselor Association) focused student support services department. With a school population of approximately 1500+, I provide academic advisement, personal/social development counseling, and career preparation guidance for grades 9-12 at Henry W. Grady High School. This is, but not limited to, the monitoring of students\' IGP (Individual Graduation Plan). Currently, I serve as the school\'s dual enrollment coordinator, a program that allows high school students to concurrently enroll in college. Moreover, I serve as our school\'s supervisor for the Achieve Atlanta/Georgia College Advising Corps initiative where graduating seniors are provided resources that will assist in matriculation to institutions of higher learning. Consequently I not only make contact with college and university admission specialists, but I am also in continual dialogue with mid-to-upper level district officials, Georgia Department of Education professionals, and CTAE (Career and Technical Agricultural Education) Department professionals regarding school-wide academic performance and general student-related concerns.
