I fulfill multifaceted reporting duties including photography, breaking news/feature writing, interviewing, proofreading, and coordinating freelancers in order to provide compelling coverage of prep sports throughout western North Carolina for both print and online media. I also photograph sporting events and have work published in various community newspapers and their corresponding websites. I locate and research historical primary and secondary sources to complete a backlog of record books while maintaining current statistics. I created and currently manage social media pages to raise brand awareness and reach a wider audience using various media strategies.
