About Cory Calderon

I currently serve as the Vice President of Sales at Valin Corporation, a mid-sized industrial distributor responsible for revenue generation and management across the technology, oil & gas and petrochemical markets to name a few. Prior to this role, I served as the Director of Organizational Development, responsible for redeveloping the Human Resources function and leading organizational restructure efforts necessary towards activating the company\'s strategic plans. I have served in a variety of sales, marketing and business development roles being fortunate enough to have hands on experience with the products we sell, customers we serve and employees we work with. I have both for-profit and non-profit experience, and recognize the role businesses serve towards helping create communities that are safe, inclusive and environmentally responsible. I practice yoga and meditation as I see these as powerful tools in remaining grounded and centered in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. I love to hike, travel to places of historical significance and question the role of human behavior in organizational settings.
