Coming from a background which gave me broad experience starting in home construction, then working on pipelines and in the oilfield, and making a transition into working in the IT industry. I made the commitment to earn a college degree in my 20\'s, majoring in geology. After college, through nearly accidental coincidence, I ended up in this amazing world of reliability & maintenance, where we can make a real difference every day through our actions. And not just any difference, but a truly outsized difference to what we typically recognize as our normal limitations as an individual - we can literally change the world, through our actions, we can and do make the world a safer, more efficient, and better place. To me, this \'job\' seems like the most rewarding & exciting thing a person could ever hope to do, and I look forward to what the future holds.
