CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIESCory is Marsh Canada’s Industry Leader for Manufacturing, Communications, Media and Tech, Cannabis and Life Sciences. He leads a team that advises clients in these sectors on key issues regarding risk management, while facilitating and overseeing the placement of their insurance programs. As the Industry Practice Leader, Cory guides Marsh’s thought leadership on risk management issues and oversees the development of best practices, analytical tools and client resources. In this role, Cory also serves to connect our clients with the full scope of MMC’s resources.EXPERIENCEFrom 2005 to 2014, Cory specialized in executive liability within Marsh’s Financial and Professional Services (FINPRO) Practice. In this role, Cory provided advisory, placement expertise, and product leadership working with FP100 and FP500 companies as well as various crown corporations and private companies on complex executive risk issues. Cory has also served as the Healthcare Cyber and Privacy Liability lead specialist and the National product leader for Kidnap and Ransom insurance.Cory has a broad range of experience working with a variety of companies, including some of Ontario’s largest provincially owned corporations, FP100 companies and other various large private and not-for-profit corporations across all industries. He has transacted business for clients through complex issues, including initial public offerings, merger and acquisition activity, insolvency proceedings, corporate restructuring, international expansion and claims activity.
