Coach Cory Tusler Coach Tusler will start his 20th year with the Wellesley Alpine Ski Team along with game management duties. Coach Tusler has been free lance coaching in the Boston area and as a college coach has coached over 600 college matches and was named to the top 24 Touring Tennis Professionals on LinkedIn. For the past few summers I have worked with touring pro Tim Mayotte and as a Nike Tennis & US Sport Tennis Director. During the Fall of 2009, Coach Tusler was the host tennis professional for the Jason Varitek Putt-Putt for Charity, teaching tennis to many family and friends of the Boston Red Sox. In 2008, Coach Tusler work with Tim Mayotte and the World Team Tennis the Boston Lobster as the host tennis coach at the Ferncroft Country Club. In the Fall of 2023, Coach Tusler & The Clanchious Kids were inducted into the Northern Vermont Hall of Fame, Celebrating two back to back NCAA Division II Championships. In June 2016 Coach Tusler won the Roger Chase Memorial Doubles Tournament hosted by the Conancuit Yacht Club to benefit the Jamestown Medical Fund. During the summer of 2015 Coach Tusler was the Director of Tennis at the Carnegie Abbey/Newport Beach Club. Cory Tusler served as the Head Coach at Bentley University for 14 seasons from 19••••05 serving as Bentley University’s Head Tennis Coach. His men’s tennis teams also captured the NE-10 regular season championship three times in 1991, 1993, 1995, and the NE-10 playoff crown once in 1996. Bentley men’s tennis players made two appearances in the NCAA tournament in 1995 and 1996. Tusler was the voted the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year in 1995. Tusler launched Wheelock College’s first ever tennis program, was voted Tennis Co- Coach of the Year and achieved his 200th career win as a Head Tennis CoachPrior to Bentley University, Tusler served as the assistant women’s tennis coach at Harvard University from 1989 to 1990, assisted the Harvard Crimson to an Ivy League Title and assisted in the launching of The College Tennis Academy in Tampa, FL. Tusler’s first job as a Tennis Director/ Head Tennis Professional was at the Sportsmen’s Tennis Club in Dorchester, MA where he was in charge of the junior development program. Eight of his tournament players were granted the opportunity to serve as student/tennis ambassadors to a sister club in Moscow. In the Fall of 1990, Coach Tusler was the host tennis professional for the return trip for the Central Latvian Tennis Team. The team traveled to Washington DC to have Lunch in the Capitol Dinning with Senator Kerry.
