   Cory Thornton has been with CompWest Insurance since 2015 partnering with medium to large complex accounts. He has worked in the workers\' compensation insurance industry since He has a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University, where he studied sociology and criminal justice. Cory investigated potentially fraudulent workers\' compensation injuries and has held loss control position with the State of CA and within the (PEO) professional employer industry. Cory\'s industry expertise is OSHA compliance, hazard identification, hazard assessment, industrial and office ergonomics. As a Loss Control Consultant, his objective is to understand the policy holder operations so he can best protect assets and employees. Potential severity and frequency of work-related injuries are minimized. Costs associated with workers’ compensation injuries are reduced by establishing partnerships with senior management and employees to save lives, time and money. Together, we develop safety programs, raise awareness, create cultures and maintain safer places to work by identifying hazards before they become a problem or major issue. 2018 - Recognized with the company Spotlight Award for dedication, integrity and exceptional performance.
