That led me to Maverick Constructors who was a direct competitor of my prior employer. I joined as a solutions-focused hire and eventually stepped into the role of Project & Quality Control Manager.I managed multi-million-dollar federal projects from award through completion, overseeing scope alignment, vendor relationships, and resolving real-world discrepancies between design and field execution. I became the person people called when things got off-track because I was trusted to lead with solutions; not blame.One standout experience involved bridging a strained competitor relationship following a prior contract protest. By focusing on transparency and trust, we turned it into a successful joint venture, proving again that clear communication and teamwork are mission-critical, no matter the industry.
