Cory Chang

About Cory Chang

Cory Chang is currently a student at UT Austin majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Risk Management. He is passionate about the importance of technology in the ever-changing corporate space, and recognizes the need to align security objectives with business requirements. He is skilled at developing security programs and recommending security strategies to secure an environment. He has a breadth of experience in the field of security, most recently at CrowdStrike, where he is an intern in the Security Advisory group, working with customers through a consultative approach to improve their security postures and ultimately stop breaches. Previously, he has been at Antares Capital as a security analyst, working with the team to build out the SOC and TVM security programs. Prior to that, he was at Kestra Financial, where he led the vulnerability management program and developed custom Python tooling to automate key processes. On campus, he is an Undergraduate Fellow with the Clements Center for National Security and an analyst with the Asian Business Students Association’s Consulting Team. Additionally, he is a member of the Information & Systems Security Society and the HASH Association of Student Hackers.
