Interface with GSA buyers and contracting officers to ensure latest and most-accurate information available for procurement efforts- Conduct market research and requirements identification for assigned commodity groups to search out and assess new and improved products that have demonstrable advantage over existing commodity group products- Conduct market research to align commodities with commercial-off-the-shelf products to maximize potential bidders interest and enhance competition- Conduct market research to maximize use of environmentally-friendly products using recycled and recovered materials, are bio-based and/or biodegradable, and utilize energy conservation, pollution prevention, and source reduction- Self-initiate and self-monitor assigned work areas to monitor process, make adjustments and follow up as needed to ensure program objectives are met- Responsible for initiating, developing, reviewing, and updating IPDs and technical contract support documents, including federal and interim specifications, standards, commercial item descriptions, purchase description, and qualified products lists- Coordinate with remote teams/individuals to ensure accuracy of documentation.
