About Cortney Lederer
As a Public Art Consultant/Art Advisor at CNL Projects, I design platforms for artists, clients, and organizations to creatively thrive together. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have developed a keen eye for emerging talent, a deep understanding of the contemporary art market, and a strong network of collaborators and partners. I hold dual MA degrees in Art History and Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I also teach graduate-level courses and curate exhibitions. My mission is to advocate for investing in artists\' work and creativity, as I believe they have the capacity to actively engage our imagination, contribute to society, and make meaningful, deep change. I work closely with my clients to create dynamic art programs that reflect their vision, brand, and aesthetic, while capturing the innovation and diversity of contemporary artists. I also offer consulting, project management, marketing, team-building, and strategic development services to businesses and organizations, as well as workshops and individual consultation to artists. Through my work, I aim to support the vitality and sustainability of artists\' careers and foster a culture of appreciation and dialogue around contemporary art.
