Focus areas include- Liberalization of air cargo and trade-in-services (collaboration with the World Trade Organization)- Fostering global economic development through expansion of air cargo market access in support of e-commerce (collaboration with the UN Conference on Trade and Development)- Developing guidance on the economic and financial aspect of multimodal and intermodal freight transport, as well as, integrated transport planning- Developing policies and guidance on economic, financial, managerial and organizational aspects of airports and air navigation service providers (ANSPs) as well as, on funding of States’ oversight functions and funding/financing for aviation infrastructure development- Conducting economic studies on airports and ANSPs, as well as business-case analysis on major infrastructure development projects
