ACCOMPLISHMENTS •Developing a project charter and schedule including a cost estimate for gas leak detection equipment. •DTE\'s Center of Excellence - Methane Mitigation Project Lead - developed technology-based compliance strategy and conducted pilots to support PHMSA\'s Gas Leak Detection and Repair Rulemaking which includes working with internal cross-functional departments, industry benchmarking and vendors. •Worked with AGA and INGAA on joint trade comments on the PHMSA Gas Leak Detection and Repair Rulemaking on screening thresholds and availability of technology options for the natural gas industry. • Summarized the Michigan Gas Safety Code\'s 25th edition, updated DTE Gas stakeholders and submitted comments to the Michigan Public Service Commission.• Developed executive presentations for the PIPES Act 2020 and other regulations impacting DTE Gas. • Developed action plan and Self-Executing LDAR Inspection & Maintenance Plan for DTE Gas, DT Midstream (MI assets) and Citizens Gas while managing various cross-functional teams as well as addressing the following compliance gaps (e.g, Enterprise-wide process to track methane reductions, flaring and portable compressor procedures) within 4 months.• Developed 8 Preliminary Action Plans in response to MPSC LDAR recommendations, identified advanced leak detection vendors and ensured alignment with DTE\'s Decarbonization Plan.
