ABOUT CORRIE DAY

I am currently a 3L at the University of Nebraska College of Law. I have a variety of experiences in the legal field including working for a nonprofit, a public interest-focused solo practitioner, the General Counsel for the University of Nebraska and Kiewit Corporation\'s General Counsel. I focus my legal education towards labor and real estate law, and am looking forward to learning more on these topics in my final year. At Nebraska Law, I am currently the President of the Women\'s Law Caucus, a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant, an inaugural Inclusive Leadership Fellow, the 3L Representative for the Multicultural Legal Society, and a Pro Bono Extern for the Nebraska Civic Engagement Table. During the school year I work as a Law Clerk for the University of Nebraska\'s Office of the General Counsel. This Fall, I will be taking Advanced Legal Research, Business Associations, Employee Benefits, Labor Law, and the Native American Law Seminar. Although the majority of my classes are not set for the Spring, I will be participating in the Estate Planning Clinic. I am seeking an Associate Attorney position ideally in the areas of construction, real estate, labor, or wealth management, but am truly open to anything. One of my favorite parts about clerkships is learning the nuances of different areas of the law, and I hope to continue my learning past my law school career.
