Recent Western Michigan University Kalamazoo Promise graduate with a degree in Business Marketing actively searching for the opportunity to launch my career in Sales & Marketing while utilizing my previous education and work history. During my time at WMU, I was involved in the American Marketing Association, TRiO first-generation college students, Sales & Business Marketing Association, and Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society in which I gained business world experiences and gained social connections that helped build a higher reputation and knowledge for post graduation. I graduated with gold status in the SPuRS (student professional readiness series) a co-curricular graduation requirement in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University, ensuring that all undergraduate B.B.A. students \"earn their spurs\" and graduate with the career readiness competencies desired by employers as defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Only 9% of the graduating class achieved this honor. I also was apart of the inaugural Kalamazoo Promise leadership academy. The 5-week Kalamazoo Promise Leadership Academy focused on building students to understand cultural and monetary differences and applying it to the business world upon graduation.Throughout my work experiences, I have participated in a Marketing Internship, served as a pharmacy technician, worked as a Neighborhood Network Marketing Assistant for 3 summers, and gained management experience across 2 companies serving as both a Shift Lead & Assistant manager. I was awarded 2 champion of champions awards from Walgreens which are awarded nationwide for Social Responsibility & Engagement. Actively looking to expand my knowledge and experience to new opportunites as I look to actively launch my career post-graduation.
