ABOUT CORNELUIS LOURENS

After an early career stint in the technical world of telecoms and network administration, I knew I had the stamina and aptitude for working with clients in high pressure situations. However, a fascination for interior design saw me gravitate to this field and I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in the subject in 2011, whereupon I started work for Kim-h Interiors. Since then I have worked on many challenging and absorbing projects. Working with clients at the conceptual stage has always been an exciting part of the journey. Each space, function, client and vision combines to form a unique synergy of ideas that I have the privilege of facilitating into reality. A hallmark of my approach dictates that no detail is too small to incorporate into the design. I have had the opportunity to work on many such projects – from initial consultation to finality. The recipe for success is the commitment and enthusiasm of myself, the team and colleagues to present a finished project that exceeds expectations and sets new benchmarks for excellence. Having worked as a freelance designer and project manager/coordinator, I am now looking for the opportunity to align my future with a forward-looking enterprise that values the ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team, and the talent to combine aesthetics with functionality.
