Cornell Boggs is a member of the national law firm Quarles & Brady LLP, where he serves as Of Counsel and Senior Strategic Advisor. He plays an integral role in helping to create inclusive teams to meet emerging client demands in this area. Cornell served for thirty years as an in-house counsel at leading multinational corporations, rising to the level of Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In addition to Legal organizations, Cornell has had leadership roles with accountability for Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Corporate Alcohol Responsibility and Water & Natural Resources groups.Cornell is an accomplished general counsel and corporate secretary experienced in all aspects of corporate management and oversight, including ethics and global compliance, executive coaching, and succession plan development. Early career experience included serving as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Torts Branch, through the Attorney General\'s Honor Program. He was recognized as a “Legend in Law” by receiving the prestigious Burton Award from the Library of Congress and the American Bar Association, and Savoy magazine named him among the “Most Influential Black Corporate Directors”, one of the “Most Influential Black Lawyers”, and as one of the “Top 100 Influential Blacks in Corporate America”. Boggs holds a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University, where he is Director Emeritus of the Board.
