   Manager of outbound operations for a 1.8 million square foot Distribution center - Ensure the accountability for safety, production, and quality of a 180k-200k units per hour distribution facility- Manage of 60-70 personnel and implement the processes that drive excellence throughout the facility; manager of 5Y and root cause analysis process as well as executing countermeasures to drive process improvements and exceed production goals- Areas of responsibility include 120 stores with 40 shipping loaders, 12 small stores staff, four overflows and shipping desk staff, and six-yard drivers- Supervise and manage associates in area assigned by giving direction, motivation and monitoring performance in several areas including Freezer, Dairy, Deli, Receiving and Dry Shipping- Ensure area is in compliance with Company guidelines relating to safety, security, policies and procedures and maintaining supporting documentation; design electronic file systems and maintain electronic and paper files- Develop initiatives that drove the department to the Top Ten multiple weeks for Units per Hour- Create metrics for tracking and improving cartons per hours using pareto charts and roots cause analysis on deficiencies- Drove Cartons Per Man Hour volume and reduced waste by tracking quality and utilizing data management- Manage the process improvement with use of Six Sigma in the highest ranked shift and department in the distribution center- Work with inventory system by inputting data to maintain and track all inventory and supplies in area; organize files, develop spreadsheets, faxed reports and scan documents- Prepare and review business reports and use information to identify operational opportunities and to be able to make improvements as needed.
