Oversee the corporate compliance program in home care to maintain regulatory compliance with governmental agencies and accreditation bodies. Keep the Board and senior management team informed and updated on new laws and regulations affecting the agency. Implement all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives for an effective compliance program. Manage day-to day operations of the program. Collaborate with other departments such as Risk Management, Internal Audit, Human Resources to direct and manage compliance issues. Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately addressed and reported.Oversight of direct and contracted home health care personnel and services. Responsible as the home health care administrator for the day to day agency operations. Provide leadership in overseeing the planned business development of home health care skilled services. Obtain and maintain state licensure, Medicare certification, contractual relationships with Medical Assistance, MCO and other providers. Implement and maintain an efficient data management system and ensure compliance with regulatory/accrediting agencies. Direct and implement business billing practices using knowledge of current industry trends for successful fiscal operations and development.
