   As President and CEO I am responsible for the strategic direction, and operations of Excentium, Inc. As an IA professional, I am driven to bring efficiency to the process of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and am focused on securing our Nation\'s IT systems while enabling innovation through a thoughtful risk management approach. As an Information Assurance Manager and chief advisor I have supported several Military Health Systems (MHS) programs. I managed teams of security professionals responsible for the maintenance of system accreditations and operational security. I developed an IA program to guide the Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO)/DHIMS through the many challenges associated with developing information systems within DoD. My program incorporated Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act,(HIPAA), the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and Service specific accreditation activities.
