About Corina Kolbe
Work has fundamentally changed—and I’m obsessed with helping companies actually make it work. I lead Workplace Experience Strategy at Zillow Group (internally, VP of Cloud HQ Effectiveness), where my focus is simple: how do we operate at our best in a distributed world? That question shows up everywhere in my work—from designing our Cloud HQ model and in-person gathering strategy (zRetreats), to shaping the tools, norms, and experiences that enable teams to collaborate, make decisions, and move faster across distance. This isn’t about where people work—it’s about how work gets done. A big part of my role is also centered on leadership effectiveness. I’m building and scaling an internal executive coaching capability that supports senior leaders and teams to operate with greater clarity, impact, and alignment. Because in a distributed environment, leadership quality isn’t just important—it’s amplified. Across all of this, my lens is consistent: effectiveness over activity, clarity over complexity, and experiences that actually enable performance—not just engagement. I’m energized by work that sits at the intersection of strategy, behavior, and culture—and by the challenge of helping organizations evolve in real, tangible ways (not just in theory).
