ABOUT CORIN CONTRERAS ACOSTA

I am Corin Contreras Acosta, I have over 7 years of experience in Operations, Logistics and Fulfillment with over 10 years of experience in Customer Relations and Business Administration. Throughout my career I have supported managers and execs with a variety of high-level tasks such as creating and managing sales reports through reporting software, managing inventory of product, supplies and packaging. Tracked product from a Production standpoint and a Fulfillment standpoint. Witnessing a product’s entire life cycle from conception to depletion and monitoring the entire Fulfillment process from physically and virtually receiving product in our warehouses, launching the product on our site, processing purchase orders, fulfilling the orders and tracking the shipping and delivery. I’ve also supported CS teams with customer inquiries related to shipment and carrier issues; reaching out to carriers to obtain information and resolving their issues. I’ve arranged for product restock and replenishment orders with 3PL and DC associates as well as vendors and manufacturers, providing them with BOLs, POs, labels and any other documentation they required. I’ve corresponded with multiple departments and individuals within a company; from entry level trainees to execs and chiefs. I’ve been assigned Procurement and Sourcing projects where I was allotted a large budget and tight deadlines for holiday campaigns and gift with purchase projects. I am also experienced in cycle counts and auditing projects, month-end and year-end procedures, safety stock and FIFO methods as well as refining and rewriting SOPS to strengthen a department. I am someone who takes pride in their work and their team. Someone who always has their hand up and is ready to help out anyway they can. I have a very “put me in coach” approach to my work ethic. I love collaborating and learning. My favorite part about Ops is the importance of constantly learning and collaborating. I might not be responsible for every piece of the puzzle but I love understanding how it all functions together; if I don’t have the answer I can at least point in the right direction. I truly believe I have the endurance, passion and expertise to handle the day to day operations of a company.
