ABOUT KE XU
Dr. Xu is currently associate director of bioinformatics at Acrivon Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to his current role, he was a lead bioinformatics research scientist at St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital where his research was focused on pediatric brain and solid tumors powered by NGS technologies. He has over 10 years’ experience in molecular evolution, population genetics, and their intersection with complex disease genetics and cancer genomics. He has a track record of publishing (co)first-author papers in journals like Acta Neuropathologica, Nature communications, and Molecular Biology and Evolution. His work has been featured in popular media outlets including print edition of Scientific American. Dr. Xu received his PhD in bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology. He then trained as postdoc at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
