I am serving a three year term as a member of the Community Living British Columbia Board of Director, a crown corporation that serves adults with developmental disabilities as well as some autistic adults and adults with FASD. As a board member, I am responsible for high level oversight of the crown corporation, including policy development, strategic planning, risk management, self-advocate and indigenous relations, service quality and performance and more. I serve on the Quality Service and Performance Committee, and as a board liaison for the Provincial Advisory Committee. I attend quarterly board and committee meetings where we discuss the issues the corporation is facing and how to address them, as well as overseeing the overall performance of the corporation\'s CEO. I am committed to continually improving the quality of services we provide to our clients, and to continually improving the ways we engage with them and learn from them.

I am an autistic presenter, facilitator, educator, project coordinator, board member, and supporter who is passionate about helping disabled people achieve their full potential. My key areas of focus include:1. Understanding my experience in work, life and the community as an autistic person.2. Understanding the experience of autistics in the workplace.3. Promoting and enabling diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with a particular focus on differently abled individuals.4. Supporting the integration of disabled people in the workplace.5. Providing employers with advice and guidance on supporting neurodivergent employees.I enjoy sharing my story and knowledge with audiences of all sizes. I have presented to a wide range of groups and audiences, both local, national, and international including the Canadian Autism Leadership Summit and OCALICON.
