I have a strong passion for business and energy technology, specifically when it comes to making our power grids and buildings \'smarter\'. My most notable experiences are:• 6 years as an electrician on residential, commercial and industrial projects• 2 years in electrical sales from both the contractor and manufacturer perspective• 2 years as an energy management systems designer/consultant, as well as training and managing technicians• Embedded system development with wireless communication to a mobile app for power system monitoring applications; including sensor circuit design, C, C++ and Java programming• A degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power System Design and Operation, and a minor in Economics • Several entrepreneurial ventures including e-commerce, media, consulting, and small business website development• Project Engineer for design/build electrical contractor Helix Electric• Currently an Electrical Designer with The Engineering EnterpriseGaining an intuitive understanding of the whole electrical industry from different perspectives within the market has been my focus in order to more deeply understand where the market is heading.
