About Corey Plummer

Throughout my academic and professional journey, my passion for analytics and a keen interest in data-driven decision-making has been a constant motivator in my achievements thus far. I am a junior at the University of Connecticut pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance. I\'ve had the pleasure of being involved in numerous business and multicultural organizations, such as The National Association for Black Accountants (NABA), Business Leaders of UConn (BLU), and more. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of joining Hillside Ventures, a student-led venture capital fund, in Spring 2024. Career-wise, I\'ve had the privilege of interning with Bank of America-Private Bank, Corporation of Independent Living (CIL) and Access Health CT thus far. In these roles, I\'ve developed a firm understanding of Excel, Netsuite, and FactSet. In these experiences, I\'ve also learned how to function in a team-oriented environment and especially how to navigate a corporate environment. These experiences in these spaces and the skills I\'ve learned have been integral in my career development and have aided me in being provided the opportunity to intern with Fifth Third Bank this summer as a 2025 Investment Banking Summer Analyst within the Sponsor Coverage Team.
