From an early age, I’ve been passionate about computers and technology, starting with hands-on exploration in music production and audio engineering as a teenager. My journey took a pivotal turn during my time in the Air Force, where I developed discipline and gained a deep appreciation for the critical role of security in operations. This experience inspired me to combine my love for technology with a focus on cybersecurity and digital forensics. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), where I developed a strong foundation in IT systems, networking, and cybersecurity. My coursework included a specialization in digital forensics, where I gained hands-on experience with forensic tools and techniques to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats. This focus on investigative problem-solving has equipped me with the skills to uncover critical evidence and provide actionable insights in a digital landscape.In addition to my formal education, I hold certifications such as CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) and GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner, which have enhanced my understanding of proactive cybersecurity measures and forensic analysis.Beyond the classroom, I’ve expanded my technical expertise through personal projects like cabling, optimizing home networks, and assembling custom computers for family members to meet their work-from-home needs.
