About Corey Saner

Currently lead rotating equipment engineer at a 160 mbpd refinery. While finishing at Cheyenne, I was the rotating equipment reliability engineer as well as the rotating equipment supervisor for the pump mechanic shop for an oil refinery. I am in charge of an 11 person punp mechanic shop as well as maintaining a top 10 bad actor list, creating and setting up critical spare parts, and implementing solutions to the troubleing rotating equipment. Prior to that I was the interim reliability engineering supervisor for the same company. I had three engineers/technician working towards improving the reliability of the refinery.Before the supervisor position I was a design engineer for the same company. I was responsible for designing and managing the installation of new equipment as well as replacing worn out piping and equipment. Before working at the refinery I was a maintenance reliability engineer for the worlds largest natural trona mine. While there i was responsible for ensuring the reliability of the equipment. I was also a key team member on the redesign of the maintenance and reliability functions at the facility. Through this process I created over 30 new pm proceedures and put over 700 pm\'s into the system for one of the 5 units onsite. This prevented multiple failures since implementation. Prior to college i spent 3.5 years at an automotive machine shop where there was also fabrication capabilites.
