ASN Constructors is a P3 joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who were responsible for design and construction of a historic 30-mile long diversion channel that is designed to protect the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River.• Coordinated with designers on geotechnical data collection, settlement monitoring, groundwater monitoring, pile driving operations and PDA testing, and various construction related operations throughout the design-build project.• Managed geotechnical exploration and design firms as needed to complete the project construction.Installed instrumentation for monitoring pore pressures and settlement within over a dozen bridge crossing sites.• Perform and coordinate constructability reviews on the geotechnical design aspects of the project.Coordinated and communicated design solutions and provided direction and oversight to design firms during the pre-construction and during construction phases of the project.• Provided technical support to the Operations team during construction which includes performing slope stability analyses for temporary slope conditions, preliminary crane pad bearing capacity calculations, performing onsite soil inspections and providing solutions when condition issues arose. • Provided technical support to the Commercial team when preparing claims which often included determining inefficiencies or errors by the project design team or providing technical justification for the construction team’s actions onsite.
