My current position is the Toledo, OH Plant Controller for Piston Automotive, a top tier automotive supplier.I direct all financial operations for a $750 million revenue, 110 employee automotive assembly facility including month end closing, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and compliance. I provide timely insights to plant leadership and corporate stakeholders. My position prior to Piston was Global Senior Financial Analyst at Owens Corning. I was a financial analyst for a business segment consisting of 3 fabrication facilities and a corporate function. I consolidated data from multiple sources, reported results and analysis versus forecast. I prepared business forecasts per corporate cycles by partnering with functions and organizing combined data. I improved automation of the forecast process by linking to ERP and analytical software, drastically reducing time to complete while increasing forecast accuracy. My previous position was Internal Audit Manager at Owens Corning. I led a team of five auditors, performed quality review of workpapers, prepared and presented high-quality audit reports that assisted stakeholders and senior leaders in making sound decisions. I partnered with different corporate functions to understand processes and identify control or process gaps. In my role, I utilized BI, Power BI, SAP and BPC to analyze financial data in order to identify high risk areas while scoping audits.My former position was Lead Financial and Operational Auditor for the Harris Corporation. In my position, I was responsible for planning and leading operational, compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. I was a lead liaison between the internal audit department and external auditors. Prior to my position at Harris, I was a Senior Internal Auditor for Owens Corning.In my role prior to Owens Corning, I was an Assurance Manager with Plante and Moran. In that role, I managed assurance and due diligence engagements, specializing in manufacturing and distribution private equity clients. I had responsibility for all aspects of the engagement, including planning and risk assessment, leading teams of auditors, quality review of workpapers, and client management. I am a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the State of Ohio.I completed my MBA at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
