ABOUT COREY COLVIN

Hello! My name is Corey. I am the Growth Engineer at Legacy Media in my hometown of Staunton, VA. My passion for Digital Marketing I found through my community. I love the Shenandoah Valley, and I want to help our local businesses thrive. When I started my initial career search, I knew that I wanted to help people and give to my community. I got married to my high school sweetheart not long after we graduated, and after time spent in prayer and discussion with her, we both thought firefighting may make a good fit. Fast forward about a year after I started firefighting, and I realized a gift and passion that I had for ministry. At this point, I decided that I should go back to college to get a better understanding of how to serve in ministry. I already had a little over a years\' worth of credit hours because of some time I spent attending the local community college. As my firefighting career progressed, I felt as if I was making a difference in my community, but in a different way than what would actually fulfil the difference I wanted to make. Not only did I want to make a difference spiritually in my community, but I want to see my community thrive physically and emotionally as well. Much of that starts with community connection and with the thriving of our local businesses. I thought, what better way to make connections and help my community thrive than to market quality, local businesses? I\'ve now been offered the opportunity to do just that. I get to build relationships with businesses in our community whether I get to work with them or not, and I have the freedom and time to pursue ministry as well as finish my degree. Digital advertising is about building strong relationships with business owners to understand exactly what they need to be successful in the career they are passionate about.
