Managing security across nine key locations, including Tate sites and storage facilities, I lead a staff of around 200 security professionals, ensuring delivery of resilient security and compliance with complex and demanding security regulation requirements. I have developed and implemented innovative strategies to meet emerging and diverse physical security risk.I promote the professional development of my team, developing policy, procedure and training programmes to continually enhance team expertise and performance; building and maintaining morale to secure motivated teams. Particular successes during this time include:• Created and implemented Tate’s first ever salvage plan to ensure effective disaster response and recovery across its sites in case of extreme emergency.• I designed and delivered bespoke security systems for new sites, aligning with organisational needs and industry best practice.• Implemented site specific threat and risk assessments on the international movement of artworks, safeguarding valuable collections and meeting compliance with global standards.I provide security management for high profile events, ensuring safety, risk mitigation, and seamless operational delivery. I work in successful partnership with partner agencies and police to support integrated intelligence sharing and contribute actively, as strategic security advisor, to the Board of Directors and Trustees, providing expert guidance on organisational risk, resilience, and policy.
