   Co-Founder and Board Member Phibian Gear Inc. May 2017 -PresentFounder Phibian Gear Inc. & Inventor of the “Phibian Fin.” Phibian Gear is a startup company with patent rights to a game changing dive fin that utilizes transformer technology. The invention allows the operator to walk, run, climb, or even skydive with the fins on in retracted mode. The fins can then be rapidly deployed via a locking cam and telescoping blades. This makes transitioning from either land or water simple without the need to remove the fins. Contributions to date include: fin design, development, patent filing and maintenance, secured investor funding, coordinated, and advised on all engineering efforts required to make the transition from bench-built prototype to full scale injection molding production. Managed all RDT & E efforts with 9 prototype phases to achieve mil-spec standard of testing. Efforts were critical in achieving a major company milestone with the first official mass production run on schedule for Mar 2023. The fin is expected to revolutionize the diving fin industry with major military clients both foreign and domestic.
