Quest Clinical Research, established in 1989, offers Phase clinical research trials with a particular focus on the development of new therapies for the treatment of life-threatening viral illnesses including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B&C, CMV, herpes, and influenza. Over the years, Quest has provided access to investigational antiviral agents to over individuals throughout Northern California. Collecting, documenting, and maintaining clinical data while ensuring compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives- Gather necessary information from research participants (i.e. HIPPA, Medical Chart Release Authorization and Questionnaires)- Complete study source documents and Case Report Forms - Collaborate with research nurses, medical assistants, laboratory technicians, independent contractors (i.e. physicians) CRAs, sponsors, and investigators to enforce compliance with protocol guidelines and ensure patient safety- Train other staff members on the study protocol (i.e, lab technicians, or medical assistant on laboratory procedures or study specific requirements)
