ABOUT COOMY KADRIBEGOVIC
Coomy leverages her 20+ year experience in multi-building academic projects and owner representation to serve LAUSD\'s Eco-Sustainability Office. This includes program and project management services, overseeing design and construction, planning and procuring projects and interfacing with operational needs. Prior to LAUSD, Coomy served as Sr. Project Manager to Caltech\'s CCE, GPS and other facilities programs. Coomy has also served as a Program & Project Manager for the Los Angeles Community College District\'s (LACCD) 9 billion dollar bond program providing oversight for 3 of the 9 LACCD campuses. She was responsible for executing the development agreement between LACCD and LAUSD, delivering a two-building LAUSD campus at Harbor college.Coomy is passionate about sustainability for the built environment and has served as chair and volunteer for several initiatives of the Los Angeles Green Building Council (USGBC-LA). She has given numerous lectures on green building strategies\' first and life cycle costs.Coomy has a Master\'s Degree in Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
