MARGA & MATT, a militant vegan love story…by David ConwayThe Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn, 2042:Matt, a zealous vertical farming vegan, falls in love with Marga, a free roaming Street-Paleo. In and around the revitalized Gowanus Canal, Marga lives off of the digital grid, surviving only on what this extraordinary land provides. She literally hunts and gathers, in this cutting-edge urban and green environment. Matt\'s first confrontational meeting with Marga, turns into a romance that puts two opposing world views at odds. Further for Matt, falling in love with Marga, means spending less time in the vertical farm\'s vegan refuge, and more time with Marga, learning her hunting and gathering ways. And it is here, in raw nature, that Matt is confronted by its brutality. This conflict, sets Matt off on an inward journey, of facing down demons and discovering self-love.
