Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various legal documents and contracts, client terms of engagement, panel agreements and RFPs, codes of conduct, and third-party supplier/vendor agreements, ensuring alignment with Walkers’ policies and regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions- Advising on various data protection matters, assessing incidents and breaches, reviewing data processing agreements (DPA) and data protection impact assessments (DPIA) for different technology solutions- Researching and providing advice on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters impacting Walkers, while offering strategic insight- Providing integral support in external information requests from clients- Collaborating closely with the global Compliance Team (comprising AML and Financial Crime, Business Acceptance and Conflicts), ensuring a consistent approach to compliance challenges across the business- Fostering and sustaining collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in the Marketing and Business Development, Procurement, HR, IT and Information Security teams- Participating in the Firm’s AI working group to evaluate the implementation of AI tools from a risk, compliance and legal perspective- Dealing with a wide array of internal queries, contributing to the achievement of Walkers’ risk management objectives.
