As the On-Air Talent Manager at Riot Games, I manage over 50 members of broadcast talent across our entire ecosystem, primarily leading the League of Legends and VALORANT on-air talent teams based out of EMEA and our Global English events including MSI & Worlds. My key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:• Act as a liaison and primary contact for talent and their representatives.• Manage talent outreach, negotiations, onboarding and assignments for regional and global live broadcast events, social media activations and sponsored brand campaigns related to Riot Games’ portfolio. • Oversee project-based budgets and relevant expenditure, including vendor contracting, invoicing and tracking.• Manage department of direct reports and key vendors for continued talent operations (ie: casters, coordinator, stylist, makeup-artist).• Approve and/or arrange talent travel and call-times, including transport solutions, glam, accommodation, visas and delivery of detailed itineraries related to show. • Collaborate with internal teams (ie: producers) to establish talent best practices, developing talent strategy and a curation of craft evaluation.• Guide direction and development across the pillar related to cross-broadcast collaborations and initiatives (ie: player to talent pathways, co-streaming)• Provide on-the-ground support and troubleshooting for talent at broadcast events, shoots and appearances, as needed. • Support the EMEA esports content services pillar as a member of the department’s leadership team.Events I have supported include the following:• 2022: LEC, EMEA Masters, MSI, Worlds• 2023: LEC, VCT EMEA, Game Changers, EMEA Masters, MSI, Worlds, TFT Invitational• 2024: LEC, VCT EMEA, Challengers, Game Changers, LPL English, Masters Madrid, MSI, VCT Champions, Worlds
