ABOUT CONSTANTIN KORTE
I’ve been working in IT since 2001, almost entirely in large-scale enterprise environments. Early on, I held a global training role where I taught engineers at major banks and financial institutions how to run mission-critical storage platforms, design synchronous replication, and build highly available data-center architectures. That experience grounded me in the realities of enterprise operations — where reliability, predictability, and clarity matter more than buzzwords. As the industry shifted toward virtualization, software-defined infrastructure, and automated private clouds, my work evolved with it. I spent many years helping organizations understand how to modernize their platforms: performance engineering at scale, cloud-operating-model thinking, infrastructure automation, and the transition from hardware-centric to software-driven architectures. The environments were always large, complex, and globally distributed — and the problems were never purely technical. They were organizational, cultural, and operational.Eventually I moved deeper into architecture and field-facing roles, working with customers across Europe on transformation initiatives spanning everything from data-center consolidation to modern application platforms. This mix of hands-on engineering work and strategic conversations with senior leadership gave me a pretty complete picture of the pressures enterprises face today — and what actually works in real life, beyond the slideware.Today at Broadcom I focus on modern Kubernetes platforms and private cloud architectures. My job is to help customers design environments that are flexible, operable, and sustainable at scale — not just technically elegant, but realistic for the teams who need to run them. I enjoy the collaborative part most: digging into architecture puzzles, untangling operational complexity, and finding approaches that help teams move faster without losing control. If you’re rethinking your private cloud strategy, modernizing your Kubernetes footprint, or simply exploring what a 2025-ready operating model could look like, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to a conversation.
