About Conrad Nied
I work on socially impactful problems by utilizing a combination of user centered design in making user-facing and using machine learning to scale our solutions. Most recently I work in internationalization and expanding language global converge for my platform - a great convergence between Anthropology, Linguistics, and Software Systems.My skillset is in between roles, while centered around writing web frontend and serverside clients, I also coordinate product strategy, lead teams, and perform data analytics. Right now I\'m best suited for software engineering on interdisciplinary teams but in the near future I\'m interested in pursuing managerial roles - supporting individual contributors that work with me as well as driving product strategy. Three values are that foundational for my work right now are:* Autonomy: give the people using our product the ability to control their experience and take actionable steps.* Transparency: be accountable and open about our methods, be clear and confront rather than avoid difficult problems.* Empathy: understand what really affects people using our product, prioritize work that helps people and understands their values and humanity.

Primary system designer, product designer, coder, and manager for part-time contributors.The Language Navigator is a tool designed to help people explore and understand the relationships between different languages. It provides a user-friendly interface for visualizing language families, dialects, and other linguistic features and how they are situated across the globe.
