ABOUT CONRAD MITCHELL
I have a background in both Operations and in Business Development in heavy industrial business throughout Western Canada, including the Oil Sands. My Business Development background includes a successful history as both an individual and as a manager leading a Team. This includes cold calling, working to gain prequalification status with many major companies and negotiating partnerships with several Indigenous communities.I possess a strong financial and business background with the ability to manage a division\'s P&L. I have also experienced success as an Operational Manager, responsible for all District and Regional operations including P&L, hiring the best and managing employee growth and development.I have demonstrated strategic selling experience in managing complex sales plans with multiple corporate and district sales personnel. Have also managed CRM platforms as a manager with the goal of broader use within the Team with improved sales outputs. I have enjoyed being part of a small Team tasked with a new company start-up in the Industrial Construction industry. I have been the single point of contact for key customer feedback/problem resolution and retention in a highly technical value added sales environment.I have a great deal of experience working in customer sites and helping to lead multi-trade Teams for turnaround and maintenance work. Experience list would include oilsands, power generation, ammonia, steel, gas, refining and upgrading, industrial and commercial operations. Also have experience in building win/win Indigenous partnerships in Western Canada for a large mechanical contracting company. Spent considerable time leading a Progressive Aboriginal Relations team to further the CCAB guidelines and vision. Was successful at implementing an Indigenous Awareness program to the entire company and building new partnerships with several Indigenous communities.
