I am a Structural Engineer and Special Inspector with Professional Engineer (PE) licenses in 17 states (NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, ME, TX, MD, DC, VA, NC, SC, FL, GA and IL). I am also an NCEES record holder with a Model Law Engineer (MLE) designation, an active ASCE member, an active SEAoNY member, an ICC Certified Special Inspector (Steel Bolting, Steel Welding, & Masonry), and a Registered Design Professional with the New York City Department of Buildings (NYCDOB). I am OSHA certified and have 40 Hours SST in compliance with NYC Local Law 196. My main purpose on linkedin is to advertise my skills and network with others in my Profession and similar Professions (i.e. other Civil, Construction, Architectural, Structural and other associated Building Professionals) here in the greater New York City area.I have experience in a wide array of Civil Engineering and Construction related areas dating back to 2004. I have worked at a variety of companies whose size ranged from 2 to individuals at the job location. Roughly speaking I have 15 years of experience in fields such as Oil & Gas, Power & Energy (Both Fossil & Nuclear), Residential, Infrastructure, Transportation Facilities, Municipal, Local Law 11, Special Inspections, Construction Management, Cranes (both Tower & Mobile) and and various Other Civil/Structural/Architectural related projects within the NYCDOB system.I am a versatile Structural Engineer who can work any industry and is open to new challenges. I have used Structural Design software such as RISA, STAAD, SAP, GTStrudl, REVIT, RAM, and SAFE amongst others and can quickly learn new software. I am familiar with codes such as ASCE 7-05 & 7-10, ACI 31•••••11 & 14, AISC 9th, 13th, and 14th editions, IBC 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2015 editions, NDS 2005 & 2012 editions, NYS 2010 and 2015 Building Codes, the 2014 NYC Building Code, the NYC Fire Code, IRC 2015 Code and various project specific codes from each of the jobs I worked.

1. Technical Director

   I am working as a Technical Director of Special Inspections at AEIS. My duties include but are not limited to:•Performing Special Inspections requiring a Professional Engineer onsite.•Training other Engineers (those who are both EITs and PEs) and Special Inspectors how to do various Field Inspections and Reports.•Reviewing Special Inspection Reports for technical accuracy, project compliance, and overall AEIS quality standards.•Performing P.E. reviews of project procedures, client/agency technical standards, and Design Professional certified submittals and deliverables (including but not limited to Drawings, Calculations and Reports).•Mentoring AEIS personnel in onsite interactions with Construction Managers, General Contractors, specialized Subcontractors, Agency Representatives, Superintendents, Site Project Management, Site Safety Personnel, and other Relevant Project Team Members.•Acting as Ambassador between AEIS and various Infrastructure Authorities Having Jurisdiction (including but not limited to NYCMTA, TBTA, NYCDDC, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, Metro North, Amtrak, LIRR, NYCDEP, and other such AHJs).•Ensuring continued success of AEIS in production of Special Inspection and Material Testing Deliverables.•Fostering on-going relationships and retention on future projects with previously listed groups.•Continuing to grow AEIS’ reputation as a leader in the Inspections and Testing of Infrastructure Projects in the greater NYC Area.*Implementing AEIS’ core principle of IKASH (Integrity, Kaizen, Ambassadors, Sprotty and High Accountability) amongst Engineers and Inspectors assigned to projects we are a part of.
